Die Stadt Ratingen ist verpflichtet, denjenigen Personen, bei denen Daten erhoben werden, bestimmte Informationen über den Umgang mit dessen Daten zu geben.

Das Amt für Stadtplanung, Vermessung und  Bauordnung regelt eine Vielzahl von Themen und Angelegenheiten, so dass auch die Informationspflichten unterschiedlich sind.
